Signs You Should Repair Your Teen's Bike

- The bike is still the right size. Teens can grow really quickly. If the bike that your teen has right now is still the proper size for him or her, though, it might not be necessary to buy a new one.

- It's unsafe. If the bike is in seriously poor condition or is otherwise unsafe, then now is the time to start thinking about buying a safer replacement.
- Your teen has outgrown the bike. First of all, if your teen is growing fast and has outgrown his or her bicycle, then it's time for a replacement. Even if your teen isn't physically too big to ride the bike, though, he or she might have outgrown the style of the bike. In these situations, looking for a new bike that is a better fit for your teen -- whether physically or age-wise -- is important
